Foundation and Corporate support is critical to the care that MSF teams provide in our programs worldwide. Our Foundation and Corporate donors contributed more than $19.6 million in 2007.

Donor Spotlight

Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fund

The Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fund donated $400,000 to Doctors Without Borders to provide care to malnourished children in Africa through an innovative strategy which relies on outpatient treatment rather than hospitalization. The grant is part of a $1.25 million pledge given to five internationally recognized organizations working in the area of malnutrition.

"As a foundation we have the ability to fund initiatives we believe can help change the world, leaving it a better place than when we found it," said Richard N. Goldman, founder of the Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fund. "Our goal for this donation is to call attention to the hunger epidemic plaguing the children of Africa and encourage additional support of innovative means of ending malnutrition throughout the world."

In the spirit of the 2007 Holiday Season, AlixPartners, the global restructuring, consulting and financial advisory firm, has generously chosen to support Doctors Without Borders in honor of their global network of employees, clients, referral sources, friends, and supporters with a significant financial donation towards the general support of the organization.
