MSF

For the first time ever, MSF gave a documentary crew uncensored access to its field operations. Set in war-torn Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and post-conflict Liberia, "Living in Emergency" interweaves the stories of four doctors as they struggle to provide emergency medical care under extreme conditions.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Several ways to support MSF

DONATE

Independent funding is the key to MSF's ability to respond immediately to crises, often in places where other aid organizations cannot go—100% of MSF-USA's funding comes from private sources.

"During my assignments, from Congo to Afghanistan, India to Sudan, countless patients have said to me, 'If it weren't for MSF, there would be no one here to help us.' "

—MSF nurse Jane Boggini

CONNECT & SHARE

You can make an impact on behalf of MSF's patients by simply sharing our message:

"Trying to catch people's attention to something so far removed from their daily reality which barely impacts them is hard. But if we cover all bases, we can make in-roads into their awareness."

—MSF nurse Fiona Bass

WORK WITH US

MSF recruits medical and non-medical personnel to provide aid to people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe. MSF seeks individuals who go beyond the minimum essential requirements and embody the principles of independent and impartial humanitarian aid.

"Your skills need to be very good because the environment is quite challenging. So expand your knowledge and skills, and sharpen your intuition and instinct by broadening your experience."

—MSF anesthesiologist and MSF-USA board member Deane Marchbein
