FREE FILM SCREENINGS IN DENVER AND BOULDER
Directed by Peter Casaer and narrated by Daniel Day-Lewis, this new documentary provides a harrowing look at the challenges of delivering humanitarian aid in armed conflicts. Over 70 minutes, “Access to the Danger Zone” explores the strategies that Doctors Without Borders uses to save lives in the world’s worst war zones, including Afghanistan, Somalia, and eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. Interviews with key experts from Doctors Without Borders, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the United Nations are accompanied by dramatic footage shot in the these countries in 2011 and 2012.
Join us following each screening for a Q&A with local MSF aid workers, who will share stories from their overseas assignments.

In its field projects, Doctors Without Borders employs specialists in construction, electricity, mechanics, and water/sanitation as Technical Logisticians or “Tech Logs”.
On April 18 in Boulder, please join Doctors Without Borders headquarters staff and a Colorado-based Doctors Without Borders aid worker and construction/water & sanitation specialist for a presentation and Q&A session to learn how your expertise is needed to run medical programs in more than 60 countries around the world.
