SANA'A, YEMEN/NEW YORK, NOVEMBER 17, 2017—The Saudi-led coalition's continuing blockade of Yemen's ports and airports is significantly hindering the efforts of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and other humanitarian organizations to provide lifesaving assistance to people in the war-torn country.

For the past 12 days, MSF has not received authorization from the Saudi-led coalition to fly into Yemen's capital, Sana'a, which is essential to bring medical supplies and staff to patients in need.

SANA'A, YEMEN/NEW YORK, NOVEMBER 8, 2017—The Saudi-led coalition has not allowed Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) flights into Yemen for the past three days, directly hindering the organization's ability to provide life-saving medical and humanitarian assistance to a population already in dire need.

MSF is calling on the Saudi-led coalition to immediately allow unhindered access so that humanitarian assistance can reach those most in need in Yemen.

The international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) opens Forced From Home this week in Seattle. The interactive exhibit seeks to tell the individual stories of the more than 65 million displaced people worldwide, and to help visitors understand the humanitarian consequences of displacement. Forced From Home exhibitions have already toured Boulder and Salt Lake City in September, welcoming more than 6,000 visitors.
