Amman/New York, October 7, 2016—As eastern Aleppo witnesses the fiercest bombing campaign since the beginning of the Syrian war, access to health care has become extremely limited, the international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) said today. Seeking medical care is a danger in itself, with at least 23 recorded attacks on eastern Aleppo’s eight remaining hospitals since the siege began in July.

BRUSSELS/NEW YORK, AUGUST 8, 2016—A busy hospital that served as a reference center for pediatric patients in the town of Millis, in Syria’s Idlib governorate, was destroyed by aerial bombing on Saturday, killing 13 people and depriving 70,000 people of essential medical care, according to the international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), which provides support to the facility.

Gaziantep/Paris—At least seven people were killed and eight are missing and presumed dead following a Monday morning attack in northern Syria that destroyed a hospital supported by Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) the international medical humanitarian organization said today.
