From October 16-22, Forced From Home will share the individual stories of the world’s displaced populations, and help visitors better understand the medical humanitarian consequences of the global refugee crisis.

The international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) opens Forced From Home this week in Seattle. The interactive exhibit seeks to tell the individual stories of the more than 65 million displaced people worldwide, and to help visitors understand the humanitarian consequences of displacement. Forced From Home exhibitions have already toured Boulder and Salt Lake City in September, welcoming more than 6,000 visitors.

It is an interactive, free exhibition on the global refugee and migration crisis, which is currently traveling throughout the Western U.S.

After 14 years in Kurram district, in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Pakistan, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is withdrawing from the area. Without providing any explanation, authorities have refused to issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC). With no valid NOC, MSF cannot continue medical activities in Kurram Agency.

JUBA, SOUTH SUDAN, JUNE 2, 2017—Malnutrition and suspected cases of cholera are escalating among people sheltering in the bush near Pieri, in northeastern South Sudan, putting the health of thousands of people at risk, the international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) said today.
