Baroj helps manage Doctors Without Borders'/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) medical activities in Ninewa, Iraq. He is displaced himself, having fled Mosul when the Islamic State took over. He left everything, his job as an intensive care nurse in a hospital, his friends and family members, to seek safety. Now he helps other displaced Iraqis get the medical care they need.

A Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and Greenpeace rescue team responded to a sinking rigid inflatable boat carrying 45 Afghan refugees crossing from Turkey to the north shore of Lesvos, Greece. On arrival to the scene the poor quality inflatable was taking on water. "We need to realize that this is not going to stop."
