In Aden, in southern Yemen, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is independently running a hospital that is now located in the middle of the fighting. Despite this, medical teams are still receiving and treating injured patients on a daily basis. About 1,000 patients have been treated since the beginning of the clashes on March 19.

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has been responding to the devastation of the two earthquakes that hit Nepal in April with medical care and water and sanitation services. The logistical restraints are difficult, but with helicopters MSF teams are able to reach remote villages where the needs are the greatest.

A fuel blockade in Yemen is preventing people from accessing humanitarian aid. Displaced people continue to flee their homes for safety in the town of Khamer, where Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is suporting the public hospital. But the lack of fuel means people cannot reach medical care and the consequences are disastrous.
