Since the cholera epidemic in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) was declared on September 9, international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has treated 17,000 people after setting up approximately 30 cholera treatment units (CTU) and centers.
