More Funding Needed for Neglected Diseases

Leishmaniasis, Chagas disease and sleeping sickness are little-known but fatal diseases threatening the lives of about 500 million people around the world. Research has shown that these three diseases receive less than five percent of the world's Research and Development funds for neglected diseases.
