Papua New Guinea: Cholera Epidemic

The first cholera epidemic in 50 years has broken out in Morobe province of Papua New Guinea.  Working in partnership with the Ministry of Health, MSF has set up a treatment center in front of the Angau hospital. The number of cases is now falling. Since the epidemic began in mid-August, 138 people have received treatment. Six patients have died.
