Haiti: Cholera, another emergency

To combat the cholera epidemic, treatment is simple: oral rehydration intensive for mild cases or intravenous for the more severely affected. MSF quickly set up cholera treatment centers near the epidemic centers. Hundreds of patients check in these treatment centers every day, sometimes more than can be handled by the staff.
