Tuberculosis: Progress in Screening

In 2009, tuberculosis killed 1.7 million people. Despite this figure, the medicines and diagnostic tools being used to combat the disease remain inadequate or nonexistent. A new kind of TB test MSF is starting to use in a number of its projects offers hope for improvement in diagnosis of the disease.
