Colombia: Neglected by the Health System

In Buenaventura, many of the town's 450,000 inhabitants fled the country's rural areas to escape violence and are not registered for social security and national health care benefits. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is providing medical assistance to this population and helping them gain access to the national healthcare system.
