Libya: Wounded Evacuated to Tunisia

April 15, 2011

Since fighting broke in Libya, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams have been working to gain access to those affected. On April 4, a ferry converted into an ambulance enabled MSF to provide assistance to the residents of Misrata. They delivered medical supplies before evacuating dozens of wounded to Tunisia by boat. MSF teams are also working in Benghazi.
