Tunisia: Stranded Far From Home

July 27, 2011

Hundreds of thousands of people, including many African expatriates, remain stranded in transit camps in Tunisia. Having fled from the violent conflict in Libya, many cannot be repatriated to their home countries, such as Somalia and Eritrea, due to instability and conflict. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) provides medical and psychological care to these refugees, who are deeply worried about their future.
