Central African Republic: Working to Stop Premature Mortality

Caught between political instability and poverty, many people in Central African Republic (CAR) also struggle to access health care. In Carnot, the country's third largest town, located in the southwest, health crises are frequent. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is working to stop the high numbers of HIV/AIDS and TB deaths.
