DRC: The Displaced People of Lake Tanganyika

On the banks of Lake Tanganyika in the Democratic Republic of Congo, more than 30,000 displaced people fleeing violence have arrived in Kalemie since the end of 2010. Thousands of people in the camps were in need of medical care and drinking water, so in December 2010, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) set up operations to meet the needs.
