Papua New Guinea: Back to Bougainville

February 13, 2012

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is working again on Bougainville Island, east of mainland Papua New Guinea, after a 10-year absence. The comprehensive care project features a maternal health program and a specialized tuberculosis ward. Teams work along side the health authorities to help build the island's local healthcare capacity.
