Dadaab: 20 Years OnJune 14, 2012
Dadaab, Kenya, hosts the largest refugee camp in the world. Originally conceived as a temporary solution to shelter refugees of Somalia's civil war, the three neighboring sites that are referred to collectively as one refugee camp are now 20 years old, and have become a permanent home for the majority of people who have sought shelter there.
