April 11, 2011 Following an attack against a military bus in the suburb of Ahmed Shah Baba in eastern Kabul on April 9, 2011, seven people with medium to severe injuries received treatment in the emergency department of the Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)–supported Ahmed Shah Baba Hospital.
MSF medical staff worked with the hospital’s emergency room team to treat the wounded patients, who were suffering from blast-related injuries, including severe burns and open fractures. |
