July 9, 2002 Therapeutic feeding centers provide specialized care for the most severely malnourished, particularly children. Supplementary Feeding Centers provide specially formulated rations to vulnerable members of a population to supplement their daily food intake. In January 2002, there were 11 TFCs in Angola; now there are 23, and 16 SFCs have opened since May. WHERE (Angola's "gray areas"):
