In this Russian republic, head of mission Gabriel Trujillo and Dr. Manana Anjaparidze are striving to ensure that Chechen refugees will not be forcefully sent back to Chechnya, where a savage war for independence continues to be waged with terrible repercussions for civilians. After being put under house arrest by Russian authorities for their advocacy work, kidnapping threats force Gabriel and Manana to temporarily suspend their mission.
