Sri Lanka:

In Sri Lanka, an apparently successful peace process has brought an end to a long and brutal civil war. In many areas of the country, however, health care needs remain unmet. Anaesthesiologist Graeme Knottenbelt and Obstetrician Divina Illustre are stationed in Mallavi, a formerly rebel-held outpost in which obstetric care and mother-and-child health services are desperately needed. Graeme is new to obstetrics, and benefits from the experience of Divina, a seasoned veteran. Burudi:

In war-torn Burundi, where rebel and government forces clash with terrible repercussions for civilians, Dr. Tara Al-Salahi has been dropped into the heart of the conflict zone. She is a capable doctor, but has no experience in combat medicine. With the mentorship of MSF doctor Linda Molenkamp, she learns quickly.
