In Doctors Without Borders:Life in the Field, we encounter a range of MSF personalities and professions, all contributing in very different ways to our objective of providing medical and logistical aid to populations in need.

MSF sends roughly 2,500 volunteers into the field each year. These volunteers work alongside a national staff composed of approximately 15,000 paid employees of MSF who live full-time in the countries where we run projects. Collectively, MSF’s volunteers and staff members represent many different professions, more than 100 nationalities, and innumerable walks of life.

Every week, MSF will post an interview with a volunteer or national staff member featured in that week’s episode on this page. Check back for more information about the people and projects that make up MSF.
