Geneva, April 1, 2011—As the conflict continues in Libya, the international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is pursuing a variety of measures to assist people affected by the violence in the western part of country, regardless of their affiliation or origin. To date, the organization has been denied access to the west of Libya, despite receiving reports of urgent humanitarian needs.
