As a physician working for MSF, you may be responding to an outbreak of cholera or meningitis, treating victims in the aftermath of an armed conflict, or setting up a treatment program for HIV/AIDS or malaria. The only certainty with an MSF mission is that your clinical skills and resourcefulness will be put to the test. You will work to diagnose and treat medical conditions not commonly found in the United States, often without the resources you may be accustomed to having on hand.

On WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 20, all physicians are invited to join us for a live teleconference and webinar to learn more about how you can join Doctors Without Borders’ pool of dedicated doctors. Doctors Without Borders Field Human Resources Officer, Melissa Bieri, will give an overview of the organization and discuss requirements. Joining Melissa will be a New York-based physician and MSF aid worker, who will share stories and photos from their experiences working in the field with MSF. Participants will be able to ask questions about the recruitment process and life in the field.

SPACE IS LIMITED. FOR MORE INFORMATION AND TO RSVP PLEASE REGISTER.

*This recruitment webinar is intended specifically for physicians interested in working with Doctors Without Borders. All other professionals are invited to participate in our general recruitment webinar on Wednesday, August 13.

Directions:

Via teleconference and webinar.

Participants will need a phone line to listen to the presentation and an internet connection to watch the optional (but recommended) online slideshow and to ask questions via live chat.
