On the afternoon of June 4, 2015, a horrific missile strike devastated a town center in Idlib Governorate, Syria. The wounded arrived in wave after wave at a nearby small makeshift hospital that is supported by Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). MSF immediately began organizing a major resupply of essentials for the hospital.

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) currently runs six health facilities in northern Syria, but in the majority of the country intense fighting and insecurity bars the organization's teams from providing hands-on medical care. In order to ensure some continuity of medical care in the midst of the war, MSF supports over 100 medical centers across Syria in areas where medical help is most needed, with a focus on besieged communities and active conflict areas where little or no other medical support is being provided.
