Impact Report: Malnutrition in Nigeria

In Nigeria, the ongoing malnutrition crisis stems from a variety of causes, including an increase in catastrophic floods and droughts driven by climate change, as well as violent conflict. The back and forth between these extremes has led to high crop failures and skyrocketing malnutrition rates in northwestern Nigeria. In the past year, the number of people suffering from acute malnutrition has doubled.

With the crisis escalating, I wanted to provide a snapshot of some of the lifesaving care you helped Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) provide in Nigeria.
