Rohima Khatun witnessed atrocities when her village in Rakhine State, Myanmar, came under attack by the military. She says soldiers surrounded the village, separated the men and women, and raped many of the women and young girls. They then set fire to the houses. “Every single moment I remember this and get emotional … I lost my neighbors, husband, child, and relatives.”
