MSF Treats Young Landmine Victims in Yemen

Amarah was playing with a group of children when an explosive device was detonated; she was one of the survivors. At the Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) hospital in Mocha, southwestern Yemen, 150 patients were treated for for injuries caused by land mines and other explosive devices over just four months. One-third of them were children. Thousands of land mines and improvised explosive devices are killing and maiming civilians in this part of the country.
