MSF reaches out after massive explosion in Beirut, Lebanon

A massive explosion shook the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on August 4, killing more than 100 people and leaving more than 4,000 injured. Many people are still missing, and the total number of casualties remains unknown.

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontiéres (MSF) teams stand in solidarity with colleagues in Lebanon who are responding to this emergency. We are assessing the most urgent medical needs and seeing how we can support Beirut's overwhelmed hospitals and affected communities.
