MSF teams have been travelling to the remotest regions of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), treating outbreaks of malaria.
Delivering emergency medical aid in remote areas is both a human and logistical challenge.
"The villages in which we work are mostly inaccessible by road." explains Carole Coeur, MSF project coordinator.
"Our teams and our medical supplies are sent by motorcycle, canoe or on foot."
MSF expat Fabian and local staff Thomas, Francois and Justin are checking the motor of a four wheel drive vehicle of the project in Ntondo, Equateur province.
