Patients wait for triage at the Damara Health Center in the Central African Republic. MSF has opened a new emergency project in the town of Damara, known as the “red line” between government and rebel forces. Most of the patients seeking treatment have been hiding in the bush for weeks because of a military rebellion in the country. MSF is treating up to one hundred patients per day, mainly for malaria and malnutrition.
