Mohammed, eight years old, was badly injured in a motorcycle accident 4 months ago, and was received at the MSF trauma centre in Al-Houban, Taiz, and transferred to an MSF-supported hospital for surgery. Today, he came in to change his dressing. MSF nurse, Abduljaleel, is carefully changing the dressing. It hurts, but Mohammed is used to it now, as he has done this many times over the last months, first every day, now every three days. Access to free, quality health care is complicated, not only for war-wounded, but for all sick and injured.
