In the last two months MSF teams have treated an increasing number of patients who report disturbing practises of ill-treatment at the hand of border authorities at the Serbian/Hungarian border. Worrying levels of violence are not new in the Balkans, especially after the closure of the Balkan Road, but the quantity of reports as well as their disturbing details, has reached a new level of brutality in recent weeks.
