Rohingya refugees in limbo in Bangladesh

A year after brutal attacks by the Myanmar military drove more than 700,000 Rohingya people from their home country, they face daily struggles and an uncertain future. The refugees, officially stateless since Myanmar does not recognize them as citizens, joined around 200,000 other Rohingya who had taken refuge in Bangladesh during previous attacks. Living in miserable, unsafe, and unhygienic conditions in the camps, they face the possibility of repatriation to a country that denies them citizenship and basic human rights.
