"MSF's multiyear pledge is a meaningful way for us to respond to our world's needs rather than react to gift requests. It helps us plan ahead to ensure that our giving reflects our values, and it helps MSF know that it can expect a stable level of support."

Elizabeth & Pete Beglin, Bellingham, WASupporters since 2001

The Multiyear Initiative is a special giving program that allows donors to make longer-term philanthropic commitments to Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). By making a multiyear commitment to MSF, donors help provide MSF with a predictable revenue stream that better serves our ability to respond rapidly to emergencies and ensure the continued operation of our programs.

While one-time gifts are essential to our work, and always appreciated, multiyear gifts provide MSF with the additional assurance of sustainability that is essential to the nature of emergency response.

The minimum to participate in this program is $5,000 per year for a three-to-five year period. Payment schedules can be designed to fit your needs and preferences—payments can be made monthly, quarterly, or annually, and in equal or increasing installments.

If you would like to receive more information about the Multiyear Initiative or if you have any questions, please contact Mary Sexton, director of major gifts, at (212) 655-3781 or Mary.Sexton@newyork.msf.org.

If you are interested in participating at a lower level, you may want to consider our monthly Field Partner program.
