Ways you can be involved with MSF

In October 2015, MSF started up an emergency malaria intervention in Remeka and Katunda, North Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), following reports of unprecedented case numbers. The teams are running mobile clinics in at least five villages each week and supporting two reference health centres. They are seeing up to 500 patients each day. Situated deep in the remote forest region of North Kivu, DRC, Remeka and Katunda are very difficult to access by road. Part of the journey can only be done on motorbikes due to poor road conditions, and everything – personnel, supplies, medicines – must be transported on foot or on motorbikes.
