During a rescue on May 23 by Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and SOS Méditerranée teams, the Libyan coast guard approached the boats, intimidated the passengers, and fired gunshots into the air, threatening people's lives and creating mayhem.
