2018 By the Numbers

In 2018 Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) provided medical humanitarian assistance to people facing extreme hardship in 74 countries around the world.

Our teams treated war-wounded patients near the front lines of conflict in Yemen; tackled epidemic outbreaks of diseases like Ebola in Democratic Republic of Congo and cholera in Niger; and cared for people fleeing violence in Central African Republic and Central America, all the while making every effort to improve patient care wherever we work.
