Gaza: The waiting room

Thousands of people were shot by the Israeli army during protests in Gaza between March 30 and October 3, 2018. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) treated 3,117 people, around half of them suffering from open fractures or soft tissue damage, most having been shot in the legs. This documentary looks at three such patients still in treatment for their injuries from that period. Although they receive ongoing post-operative care from MSF, the pain they experience every day has the result of isolating them from their families and friends.
