MSF Sees How Vaccines Make a Difference

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams witness every day why vaccinations are so important. Right now, for example, in Democratic Republic of Congo, MSF is supporting a mass vaccination campaign to fight a measles outbreak that has infected more than 300,000 people—and killed more than 6,200. Once an outbreak has started, people come eagerly—sometime walking for days—to get themselves or their children vaccinated.
