People Trapped by Floodwaters in South Sudan

Villages in northeastern South Sudan are being impacted by severe flooding. Many people have been displaced, and others remain trapped by rising waters. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is running mobile clinics to the most affected areas, bringing people essential items like mosquito nets, blankets, and cooking equipment. “I have never seen floods like this,” said Myawal, a resident of Pobor town, a village surrounded and threatened by floodwaters. “I’m not sure we will survive.”
