Snakebite is a hidden health crisis

Migrant workers harvesting in the early morning hours in Ethiopia often become the victims of potentially deadly snakebites. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) provides treatment and raises awareness about snakebites in Abdurafi town, near the farms where these migrants work. Snakebite is a hidden and widespread health crisis; victims are often people who cannot afford effective treatment, and more than 100,000 people die from snakebite every year.
