Treating wounds and chronic illnesses in Tacloban, Philippines

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has set up a 45-bed inflatable hospital in the city of Tacloban and working to provide medical care in collaboration with the Filipino Ministry of Health. Many of the medical facilities in the area were damaged or destroyed by Typhoon Haiyan, and as a result the MSF hospital has become the main referral center in the area.
