Casey Saunders currently serves as co-interim chief development officer at Doctors Without Borders. In this capacity, he co-leads fundraising strategy and operations, driving revenue growth and donor engagement that generates significant annual support for MSF’s independent medical humanitarian work worldwide. He continues to serve as director of legacy giving – a role he has held since joining Doctors Without Borders in 2023 – leading one of the organization’s fastest-growing revenue channels.

Casey brings more than a decade of fundraising experience across the humanitarian and health nonprofit sectors, including notable prior roles at The ALS Association and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He is passionate about helping donors achieve their philanthropic goals in ways that complement their financial and family planning priorities while maximizing the value and impact of their assets. He is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®), and is a frequent speaker at national fundraising and gift planning conferences and a contributor to leading industry publications.
