Another Weapon in the Fight Against Malaria

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and the Ministry of Health implemented seasonal malaria chemoprevention (SMC) in Niger for the first time in 2013. SMC is a new preventive measure against malaria recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and it has been a major success.
