Summer Games Done Quick raises millions each year to support lifesaving humanitarian aid around the world

As hundreds of thousands of fans stream the live event, speedrunners demonstrate their incredible video game prowess and challenge their audience to raise money for Doctors Without Borders. In exchange, they perform even more impressive in-game feats!

What is speedrunning?

Speedrunning has its own community within the video game world, where the only thing that matters is beating any video game as fast as possible, and by any means necessary. Discovering new glitches, skips, or other tricks that manipulate game mechanics is encouraged and these techniques are always at their disposal—even if it sometimes breaks the game! Millions of fans tune into live streams to watch speedrunners each year.
