Aid agencies are well known providers of assistance for refugees and other displaced populations, many times in some of the most remote, desolate, or unstable regions of the world. People who are forced to flee their homes with nearly nothing oftentimes lack access to basic human necessities such as food, water and hygiene, shelter, and medical and mental health care. How are aid agencies addressing these issues? Join us for an in-depth discussion on how humanitarian aid is delivered to people forced from their homes by violence, persecution, and poverty.

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) presents an in-depth panel discussion with experts from Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), Habitat for Humanity, CARE, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Panelists will share stories from the field, describing how their organization finds solutions to some of the most daunting humanitarian challenges when providing aid to the world’s 68.5 million displaced people.

The panel will include audience Q&A. This free event is open to the public, and fully accessible.
